It’s done! Fin! Fertig!
My Scrappy Grannies are all finished and put together.
One half over the bannisters.
The other half.
It ended up at 85″ x 65″ so a bit of a biggie. This is over a spare bed which is a king size. Covers the top nicely.
It now lives on the end of that bed. Until it’s claimed by someone anyway.
Total yarn used, 2.25kgs worth!!!! That’s a lot of oddments. Not a single new ball was purchased and I have one and a half empty bags of acrylic. Very pleasing.

Such a lovely feeling to make something, using up what you already have and with such a fabulous result!

Or on the sofa or even in the garden as a tent. Can’t beat a granny blanket. 😊

Outstanding! A real beauty and so satisfying that it used up leftovers on hand.

Yes and 2.25kg is a considerable amount!

That’s magnificent. I hope your back is sore from giving yourself pats on it. To achieve such a beautiful and harmonious result from scraps is really impressive. I have to say, it works rather well with the quilt that already lives on that bed!

The best bit was I didn’t even match up any of the colours, just grabbed the next one from the basket. 😊

A lot of leftover kit bits. They made money for the rescue and this makes me happy.

Impressive. You have mixed the colours together so well that it does not say “scrap blanket”.

Just grabbed the next yarn from the basket without thinking. That was harder than you’d think! 😁
